Welcome to the Combine week! The 2026 NFL Combine will be going down in Indianapolis this week, and this is where we’re going to get our first real info on some of the directions the Detroit Lions are going this offseason. This is where we begin to separate the boys from the men in terms of who’s going to get drafted where.

A lot is going on this week, so we put together this Combine schedule that is tailored to the Lions. Pay attention to everything if you want, but here’s the stuff that is really for the Lions.

Tuesday

The first day of the Combine is a big one. This is our last chance to hear from Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell ahead of free agency. The Lions will usually put these interviews on YouTube. Holmes will talk at 1:00 P.M. ET and Campbell will talk at 2:00 P.M. ET. These times are subject to change.

Wednesday

This is edge rusher day. Linebackers and interior defensive linemen will also participate on this day, but if you’re hoping to get to know some edge rushers or learn if any of them have had formal combine meetings with the Lions, this is the day.

Thursday

Cornerbacks and safeties will meet with the media in the morning, and then edge rushers and defensive linemen will get on the field at 8:00 P.M. ET.

Friday

We know the Lions are probably going to be watching a lot of tight ends on this day. They’ll do media interviews in the morning. Quarterbacks and receivers will also be doing their media and on-field work. Cornerbacks and safeties will take the field Friday night. This is where the 40-yard dash fun really begins. Seeing the cornerbacks run is always a blast. But there are plenty of other drills that are great to see corners and safeties go through to get an idea of their agility.

Saturday

Here’s likely the biggest day of the week for the Lions because this is where their first-round pick could be coming. This offensive linemen day. Tackles, centers, and guards will meet with the media. Then tight ends, receivers, and quarterbacks will do their on-field work.

Sunday

The offenisve linemen will get on the field for their on-field work, and this is the one where Lions fans might want to pay the closest attention. This is the last day of the NFL Combine.
