The No. 1 defensive lineman in the 2028 recruiting class is planning to visit Tennessee
The Tennessee Vols are set to receive a visit from an elite defensive line recruit.
One of the best 2028 football recruits in the nation is planning to visit the Tennessee Vols this spring.
According to 247Sports, 2028 defensive lineman Kellan Hall will take a visit to Tennessee on March 28.
Hall, 6-foot-4/265 pounds from Louisville, KY, is rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 1 defensive lineman in the nation and the No. 8 overall player in the 2028 recruiting class.
“UT got involved in my recruitment early,” said Hall to 247Sports of his interest in Tennessee. “Coach (Josh) Heupel has been very vocal about my position versatility and allowing me the opportunity to play anywhere along the defensive line. Coach (Rodney) Garner demands great technique and details. I’m used to this style of coaching.”
Hall also has visits planned to Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Missouri, Kentucky, Ohio State, Indiana, and Georgia.
“Major talent with impressive catalog of two-way experience, physical tools, athleticism, football pedigree, and multi-sport background,” note 247Sports scouting analyst Gabe Brooks in his scouting report for Hall.
It’s still very early in Hall’s recruitment — he’s most likely just getting a feel for which schools could be among his finalists — so it’s far too early to forecast where the talented defensive lineman might land.
