Howie Roseman will have a busy offseason in the coming months for the Philadelphia Eagles.

The future of wide receiver A.J. Brown looms, and some notable free agents for Philly are about to be available for any team to sign. Not to mention, the 2026 NFL Draft can help supply their roster for the future. Roseman and the Eagles coaching staff must improve their offensive line at multiple spots, and some recent news could help them in that task.

Eagles need more interior offensive line depth at multiple spots

Landon Dickerson has dealt with multiple injuries throughout his NFL career, and he missed some time last season. Those ailments even forced him to consider retirement this offseason, even at just 27 years old.

Cam Jurgens struggled at center at points last season, so an addition at that position could also make some sense when it comes to free agency. Any sort of experience can help push the Eagles to get the best out of Jurgens, who has proven he has serious potential when playing at his best.

Keep in mind that versatile interior linemen Brett Toth and Matt Pryor are both impending free agents that are set to hit the market next week. The Dallas Cowboys made a surprising choice this week when it was reported they won’t be placing a tender on lineman Brock Hoffman.

Hoffman has made 14 starts in the last two years for Dallas. Now, he will be available for whoever finds the best deal for him around the NFL. While he is not a starting level player, he can be notable depth at both guard spots as well as center.

Cowboys expert surprised that Hoffman will hit the market

I discussed Hoffman’s situation and this reported outcome with Mauricio Rodriguez, who covers the Cowboys. He was fairly shocked that Dallas made this choice with the experienced lineman.

“I’m very surprised at the Cowboys’ decision not to tender Brock Hoffman. Even though they drafted Cooper Beebe to start at center a couple of years ago, Hoffman is a quality backup to the point of being a solid starter at the NFL level. Combined with his flexibility to play guard, it’s a surprise they’re not capitalizing on Hoffman’s free agency being restricted.

Hoffman is a bully in the trenches, and the kind of guy who can set the tone in terms of intensity. Often times, Hoffman’s nasty style of playing got him into trouble because of late hits and shoves. But that style of playing is what allowed him to start 14 games in the last couple of seasons.

Before the Cowboys decided to draft Tyler Booker in the first round last year, Hoffman appeared to be in line to be Zack Martin’s replacement. I fully expect multiple NFL teams to be interested in him.”
