The New York Giants are headed into the 2026 NFL Draft with a lot of roster needs still needing to be addressed.

Giants head coach John Harbaugh spoke to the media at the 2026 NFL Annual League Meeting in Arizona, where he discussed the team’s needs and hottest topics around the Giants. One of the main talking points was a potential reunion with WR Odell Beckham Jr, and the door seems wide open.

John Harbaugh is open to a reunion with WR Odell Beckham Jr. if it helps the team

Harbaugh has a lot of difficult decisions to make regarding the roster in the upcoming months, with the NFL Draft, but also moves with the remaining free agents. One of those players is Beckham Jr, who has made it obvious he wants to go back to the Giants and play alongside Malik Nabers and Jaxon Dart, but do the Giants want that? There’s a chance it could happen.

“The obvious answer would be, you look at every option right,” Harbaugh said. “If Odell is an option, then we’ll be looking at it for sure. And, he and I do talk, and we do text, and we’ve maintained a really great relationship. He’s one of my very favorite people in the world. So it’s not like, you know, you don’t talk to guys about things like that. And certainly we have, we’ll just have to see where it all goes. You know, what’s best for him, what’s best for the Giants? That’s the number one thing. It is what’s best for our team, and any player you know, if he’s if he helps you be a better team and can make you better, then you’re going to pursue that. So we’ll just have to see where that goes.”

Harbaugh was very upfront about how close he is with Beckham Jr, and it added more fuel to the fire regarding a possible reunion in New York. Things heated up even more at the NFL League Meetings when Beckham Jr. was spotted talking to Harbaugh at the hotel where the teams are staying.

Should the Giants consider Odell Beckham Jr?

Beckham Jr. has said that he wants to keep playing, but teams had concerns about his injury history. He certainly helped his case recently after making big plays in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic game, including a patented one-handed touchdown catch.

The Giants need help at WR after losing Wan’Dale Robinson in free agency, and they should consider a reunion if they can’t land a WR they want in the NFL Draft.
