The 2026 NFL Draft is under one month away, and the draft hats have started rolling out.

They currently hold the No. 7 overall pick, so there’s a good chance their selection will be in the draft room waiting for their name to be called before putting on the Commanders hat. We finally have the details of the new draft hat, and it shoots down one idea on the Commanders’ new uniform rollouts next month.

Commanders’ 2026 NFL Draft hat revealed

The Commanders have six picks to work with in the NFL Draft, and they need to hit on their first-round pick without a doubt. Hopefully, the guy they want will be on the board with the No.7 overall pick, and he’ll put on the Commanders draft hat when he walks across the stage as Jayden Daniels did.

We finally have our first look at the NFL Draft hats, and it’s an improvement from what we’ve seen lately, with some unique details.

The 2026 NFL Draft hat has a chrome border around the logo this year for all 32 teams, and includes a city theme on the inside of the hat as well. The Commanders’ hat has a cherry blossom theme on the inside. The hat also has the same W logo, which means the logo is here to stay, as expected with the new uniform rollouts on the way.

Commanders’ logo is here to stay for new uniforms

The Commanders are rolling out new uniforms on April 15th, and people have begun to speculate on changes to the logo. The NFL Draft hats shoot that down, since the Titans’ new logo is updated on the draft hats. There’s still a chance they could bring back the spear logo for a throwback alternate uniform next season, but the W logo will stick around.

They’re very likely to make the Super Bowl Era uniforms the primary uniforms moving forward to honor the past, while keeping the new logo with them. I’m interested to see if they will add a border to the W logo on the helmet, and the draft hats give us a preview of what that could look like.

Fans can start to order the draft hats online now, and wear them for the 2026 NFL Draft when the Commanders add to the future of the franchise.
