Broncos’ Bo Nix receives the best possible news of the offseason as the team gears up for the NFL Draft
The Denver Broncos had a disaster strike in the divisional round win against the Buffalo Bills when quarterback Bo Nix went down with an injury. The latest update regarding Nix’s rehab should have Broncos Country ready to run through a brick wall.
The Denver Broncos were having a healthy quarterback, Bo Nix, away from winning the AFC Championship, that’s one thing that we’re certain of. If Nix were playing against the Patriots, there’s a very good chance they would have been playing in the Super Bowl.
Nix was injured in the closing moments of the divisional round win against the Buffalo Bills, ending his season and devastating Broncos Country. It was a worst-case scenario for the organization and a gut-punch to the fan base.
Fortunately, during the annual coaches meeting, there was an update on Nix and how he’s progressing through his injury. Needless to say, Broncos Country should be more than a little excited about what’s to come for the talented signal caller.
Bo Nix is reportedly progressing well through his rehab and should be good to go for the regular season
Jordan Schultz broke the news that not only is Nix a full go for the team’s offseason program with zero limitations, fully recovered from his ankle surgery, but that he’s actually further along than he typically is in his offseason conditioning program.
The franchise quarterback is more than ready to get on the field and compete, and it’s looking like that’s going to happen sooner rather than later. He was a large reason why the team was able to clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC during the 2025 season.
In 2025, Nix shone in his second season as the signal-caller for the Denver Broncos. He finished the year going 388-612 for 3,931 yards and 25 touchdowns with 11 interceptions.
If that trajectory carries over into 2026, the rest of the AFC is going to have a serious problem on its hands. Denver already proved it can contend at the highest level; now, they’re getting the engine of it all back, fully healthy and ahead of schedule.
And if Nix is really better than ever, that Super Bowl window Broncos Country was dreaming about might not just be open, it might be kicking wide open.
