Cleveland Browns are hosting an exciting, surprising 2026 NFL Draft prospect they’d have to take in the first round if they want him
Cleveland is looking to make big changes to its offense in 2026. The latest visitor they’ll have in is a big time talent from the Oregon Ducks, as well as a bit surprising.
We’re in the final days leading up to the 2026 NFL Draft, with just over two weeks until the big three-day event. A team like the Cleveland Browns has nine selections, including a pair of first-round picks at No. 6 and No. 24 overall.
Cleveland’s two biggest needs are at left tackle and wide receiver. Following what the team did in free agency with the majority of the offensive line being overhauled, it’s key the Browns address those two positions.
The Browns could fill both of their bigger needs with their first two picks, but they’re clearly keeping an open mind heading into the draft, just in case the value isn’t there.
Cleveland Browns meet with intriguing NFL draft weapon
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Browns are hosting former Oregon Ducks TE Kenyon Sadiq for a top-30 visit on Tuesday. Sadiq figures to be the first tight end off the board in the draft and a first-round pick.
Sadiq had 868 receiving yards and 10 touchdown catches over the last two seasons for the Ducks. The 6-foot-3, 241-pound Sadiq went for 560 receiving yards and eight touchdown catches during the 2025 season at Oregon. Sadiq is an athletic freak who brings a 4.39 40-yard dash, 43.5-inch vertical jump, and 11-foot-1-inch broad jump.
While tight end is not the biggest need on the roster, the Browns could find Sadiq as the best player available when it’s time to make their second first-round pick. Pairing Sadiq with Harold Fannin Jr. would give the Browns the most exciting tight end room in the NFL following the departure of David Njoku.
Njoku hasn’t signed elsewhere yet as a free agent, but it’s very unlikely he ends up back in Cleveland. The Browns signed TE Jack Stoll to be a pure blocker and to compete for the TE3 spot. Sadiq could fill the second tight end spot as a major weapon for Cleveland’s offense.
Things could really go a number of directions for the Browns in the draft. Getting Sadiq would be a surprise, but it would undoubtedly make them a better football team. The Browns are showing they’re at least open to making the addition happen.
