The Buffalo Bills are kicking off the 2026 season, well, kind of.

Teams held voluntary conditioning programs where players could come in and get some light work done. Again, the keyword to look out for here is voluntary. Players don’t have to show up for these conditioning sessions, but many players do.

Quarterback Josh Allen was among one of the players who reported to voluntary camp, flashing a smile and a thumbs up as shown by the Buffalo Bills official social media department in a video posted on X.

That’s not all, as the team released another video that has Bills Mafia ready to run through a brick wall. The season cannot start soon enough for the devout fanbase, and the social media department provided an inside look at the voluntary offseason program.

One of the new faces of the Bills is that of safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson, is getting in some work in the video. New defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard wants the defense to be nasty in 2026, adding a level of ferociousness unseen during the Sean McDermott days.

In fact, just the Gardner-Johnson signing alone shows that the regime is going to be much different heading into the new league season. The veteran safety, after just the first day of offseason work, sent out a message to the fans that the “Bills got better today,” which was enough to rile up the fan base even more.

At the end of the video, it even shows Gardner-Johnson breaking down a team huddle, showing that he’s going to be a vocal leader in the room.

The video showed players like tight end Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox getting in some work. Wide receiver Keon Coleman is lifting some weights along with safety Cole Bishop, Dion Dawkins is moving around, and the whole team is getting after it.

In 33 seconds, the Buffalo Bills have the fan base more than ready for the season to begin, and to see what some of the newcomers might bring to the table.

And that’s what makes this time of year so dangerous for the rest of the league.

It’s voluntary, it’s early, and only a 33-second clip. But the energy, the leadership, and the edge already feel different in Buffalo. If this is the tone being set in April, imagine what it’s going to look like when the lights come on for real.
