It was good and bad news for the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday at practice.
It was a mixed bag of injury news for the Buffalo Bills at practice on Tuesday.
The good news for Buffalo is that wide receiver DJ Moore took the field without issue after suffering an injury scare in the Bills’ preseason opener against the Carolina Panthers.
Bills head coach Joe Brady said after the game against Carolina that Moore should be good to go, but it’s still reassuring to actually see the wide receiver as a full-go at practice.
On the flip side, wide receiver Keon Coleman didn’t practice on Tuesday, and he was seen in a walking boot after suffering an injury against the Panthers.
Coleman was starting to generate some positive buzz in training camp, and he caught a touchdown pass from Bills quarterback Josh Allen against the Panthers.
But now it looks like he’s going to miss some time, which likely paves the way for Josh Palmer to climb the depth chart.
At this point, it’s unclear how much time Coleman will miss. But it’s obviously never ideal to be in a walking boot just a few weeks before the start of the season.
