Teams across the league are hard at work preparing for next week’s NFL Draft. Veteran players are still enjoying the offseason, though, and that includes a lot of different events and activities. For one Indianapolis Colts player, it is a great honor bestowed upon him.

Colts wide receiver Ashton Dulin is one of the most underrated players on the team. Dulin is one of the top special teams players in the NFL. He has also been a reliable depth wide receiver during his time with the Colts. He is finally gaining recognition, not for his time with the Colts, but for what he accomplished in college.

Colts WR Ashton Dulin named to the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Hall of Fame

“Over the course of his career, Dulin rewrote the Malone record books, finishing as the program’s all-time leader in receptions (189), receiving yards (3,188), all-purpose yards (5,455), and kickoff return touchdowns (3). He also ranks second in receiving touchdowns (28) and third in total touchdowns (34), cementing his place as one of the most accomplished players in school history.” – Malone University article

The Great Midwest Athletic Conference named Dulin as one of two athletes to its Hall of Fame. Dulin had a fantastic career at Malone University as a dual-sport athlete. His accomplishments in both football and track were impressive. They landed him a chance to make an NFL roster, one he took advantage of. The conference is now honoring him by inducting him into its Hall of Fame.

A massive opportunity is in front of him for the 2026 season

Dulin doesn’t get enough credit for the impact he has on a game on any given Sunday. He has become one of the best gunners in the NFL. His track speed has been an asset to the Colts’ offense countless times over the years.
He has also been among the best run blockers in the team’s wide receiver room throughout his career.

This upcoming season will be interesting because he will have a real chance to compete for a starting job in the wide receiver room. To keep Alec Pierce around, the team traded Michael Pittman Jr. to the Pittsburgh Steelers. That leaves a lot of snaps and targets from the team’s offenses over the years up for grabs.

The Colts signed Nick Westbrook-Ikhine this offseason, who is his biggest competition for the job at this time. The team could also decide to use a significant pick in the 2026 NFL Draft on the position.

Dulin’s experience in the offense and time with the franchise will give him a leg up in that competition, though. And if he’s shown anything throughout his career, it’s that you don’t want to bet against him.
