Future Hall of Famer sends firm message about joining Bills in 2026, and Brandon Beane faces major opportunity to act now
Future Hall of Fame EDGE rusher Von Miller made it clear that he wants to rejoin the Buffalo Bills in 2026. He had a lot to say about quarterback Josh Allen and the team’s chances to win the Super Bowl in 2026. Now it’s up to general manager Brandon Beane to make it happen, if he wants.
Future Hall of Fame pass rusher Von Miller wants to return to Buffalo.
Honestly, general manager Brandon Beane should look to bring him back. He still has plenty of gas left in the tank, and Buffalo could use his services.
Von Miller says the Buffalo Bills are going to win the Super Bowl
Miller was speaking during a livestream when the topic of the Buffalo Bills came up. Needless to say, he has high expectations for the team heading into the 2026 season.
“Man, I would love to go back to the Buffalo Bills,” Miller said. “Josh Allen is going to get them one. Josh Allen is going to win a Super Bowl [ . . . ] the Buffalo Bills already beat the Kansas City Chiefs before, not in the playoffs, yet. It’s going to happen. Josh Allen is going to get one. James Cook is one of the best backs in the league, but Josh Allen is going to win a Super Bowl, and Lamar Jackson is going to win a Super Bowl. It’s just on the timing.”
Allen and the Bills had a good chance of winning it all, but fell short in the divisional round against the Denver Broncos. Not to bring up old wounds, but wide receiver Brandin Cooks absolutely caught the football; it’s a no-brainer.
Von Miller’s stats throughout his career
Miller is an eventual Hall of Famer. Let’s take a look at his career stats
- Denver Broncos (10 seasons) – 142 games, 110.5 sacks, 509 combined tackles, 225 quarterback hits, 142 tackles for loss
- Buffalo Bills (three seasons) – 36 games, 14 sacks, 41 combined tackles, 23 quarterback hits, 17 tackles for loss
- Washington Commanders (one season) – 17 games, nine sacks, 26 combined tackles, 15 quarterback hits, six tackles for loss
- Los Angeles Rams (one season) – eight games, five sacks, 31 combined tackles, eight quarterback hits, 12 tackles for loss
The Buffalo Bills could use Von Miller’s services in 2026
You can never have too many EDGE rushers, and Miller wants to be back in Buffalo. It feels like a must-make move for Brandon Beane and the front office. In Washington, he had nine sacks in 17 games. If you look at last season’s numbers, that would have led the team. So, yeah, plenty of gas left in the tank for Miller.
Greg Rousseau led the team with seven sacks in 2025, then it was Joey Bosa with five, Matt Milano with three and a half, DaQuan Jones with three, and Ed Oliver with three. In total, Buffalo had 36 sacks in 2025, and they’re hoping that number is better in 2026.
The team spent valuable draft capital on EDGE T.J. Parker and brought in EDGE Bradley Chubb during the offseason. The team is making it clear that they’re prioritizing getting after the quarterback. Beane should have made the call yesterday.
You don’t bring him back to be the guy; you bring him back to finish games, to mentor a young pass-rush room, and to deliver in the moments that have haunted this team year after year. Buffalo doesn’t need vintage Von Miller. They just need timely Von Miller.
If the Bills are truly all-in on getting over the hump, this is the kind of move that checks every box. The fit is there. The need is there. And clearly, the desire is there.
Now it’s on Beane to pick up the phone and not let this one slip away.
