New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver Jordyn Tyson has wasted no time confirming a key suspicion surrounding his first season in the NFL. The team’s first-round pick made a great choice.

WR Jordyn Tyson will wear no. 0 for New Orleans Saints

In an interview with Kay Adams on the Up & Adams Show, Jordyn Tyson confirmed that he will wear no. 0 for the Saints this season. Rookie selections for a jersey are always closely watched by fans, and this is another example of that.

Usually, an official announcement of numbers for rookies will come from the team later in the offseason.

There have been a ton of jersey swaps since Tyson was selected by the Saints in the first round. Albeit, there have been Saints/Tyson swaps since last year when people hoped that the match would happen, given the lackluster expectations for Kellen Moore’s team last season.

There have only been two other players to wear no. 0 in Saints franchise history, according to Pro Football Reference.

  • Defensive back Ugo Amadi (2023-2025)
  • Defensive back Obert Logan (1967)

Tyson will be the first offensive player to wear the number, and it will continue his legacy wearing it since he also did with Arizona State.

You’ll see plenty of his jerseys when the season kicks off for New Orleans later this year.
