Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence might play for a small market team, but the team’s franchise quarterback is universally known around the league for more than just his play. Lawrence and his long, flowing blonde locks have been impossible to separate since his days going back to Clemson.

Well, that is until recently, it appears.

Lawrence was a part of the Jacksonville social media team’s schedule presentation. In fact, he was the central star of the piece. Lawrence sat down in a barber chair and had his locks lopped off by the barber, leaving a very, very different look by the end.

And to those who say it’s AI, well, the Jags had a response to that as well.

It goes without saying that it’s going to take some time to get used to the new look that Lawrence is rocking going into the heart of the post-draft offseason. The Jags’ star has four months until the season gets underway, so there’s still time to start to grow it back if he’s not a fan of his new hairdo.

But who knows. Samson lost his power when his hair was cut. Perhaps Lawrence will be the anti-Samson this year. After all, the Jags weren’t far off from being among the AFC’s best last year in Liam Coen’s first season.
