This past week, the Oklahoma Sooners held a camp for recruits from across the country, spanning several recruiting classes. These recruits stem from guys who may not even be rated yet, to some of the very best players in the country. Oh, and a couple of legacy players were in attendance.

Bubba Moses, remember that name? James “Bubba” Moses was an Oklahoma tight end from 2002 to 2004. He finished his career with 240 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. Now, his son, Bubba Moses, is at OU, not as a player currently on the roster, but as a player trying to make a name for himself, his own name.

“I enjoyed competing at the OU Camp and learning from the coaches. I look forward to continuing my dad’s legacy and hope to be a part of the program in the future,” Moses told A to Z Sports.

It’s clear there’s an interest in Oklahoma from Moses, too.

The Sooners had to love what they saw from Bubba Moses

This week, one quote made the rounds through social media. “There’s NOT only one Bubba Moses.”

Bubba Moses, the son of the former tight end, is a 2029 recruit. He was invited to the Sooners Elite Camp. And, man, did he show out. Moses was one of the biggest standouts at camp. He made impressive catch after impressive catch—anything thrown his way, he came down with. It didn’t matter if his helmet came off in the end zone as he hit the ground; he was hauling in the ball. It was certainly one of the more impressive camps.

He doesn’t yet have any offers or even a profile on On3, Rivals, or 247 Sports. But that doesn’t mean it won’t happen. The talent is there, and I have no doubt that it won’t take long for the young man to get an offer.
