Stop me if you’ve heard this before. But the general masses are not believers of the 2026 Miami Dolphins.

With big names like Tyreek Hill, Bradley Chubb, Jaylen Waddle, and others out of the picture, mostly questions and uncertainty are left behind. And, as a result, the masses think this will be a tough season for the Fins. But this may be a new low. The NFL.com season previews series released this week, which includes seven record predictions for the year ahead. Miami’s was, as you might expect, a bloodbath.

The NFL.com crew is not exactly feeling the 2026 Miami Dolphins’ season outlook

Here are the 2026 record predictions for the Miami Dolphins from the NFL.com panel:

  • Colleen Wolfe: 3-14
  • Nick Shook: 2-15
  • Lance Zierlein: 4-13
  • Grant Gordon: 4-13
  • Dan Parr: 2-15
  • Brooke Cersosimo: 4-13
  • Bucky Brooks: 5-12

Cue the meme: ‘Our expectations were low, but holy *#@!’

Bucky Brooks, a real champion of the people in Miami with his five-win prediction for the Dolphins! It’s not a surprise to see the skepticism. And until the Dolphins step out onto the field and prove otherwise, it’s not going to change.

The challenge for Miami, of course, is that they’re tackling this season with one of the youngest rosters in football. They’re also enduring a brand new roster and management group for top to bottom. Perhaps they catch lightning in a bottle. The NFL.com panel doesn’t seem to think so, though. They are, unanimously, among the groups fading the Dolphins in 2026.
