The Green Bay Packers released their final injury report Friday ahead of Sunday’s Week 1 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, and the offensive line is the group that deserves the most attention. Three of the five starting offensive linemen appeared on the report with knee injuries throughout the week. Two of them, left guard Aaron Banks and right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele, are officially questionable to play. However, left tackle Jordan Morgan is off the injury report and is expected to be on the field.

The combination of impact and volume along one position group makes this the primary concern for Green Bay heading into the regular season opener in Minnesota.

Morgan practiced fully on both Thursday and Friday, even though the knee problem is a new development. He was healthy throughout the entire preseason and training camp, so this is not a lingering concern.

Zach Bako-Bewele expects to be available

Bako-Bewele is a different story, given the context of his knee issue. He suffered a partially torn patella last season against the Denver Broncos, missing the final stretch of the year. He did not play in preseason games and had limited training camp participation.

Bako-Bewele himself said he plans to play without limitations and at an elite level, but it remains unclear whether he will be at full strength early in the season. The Packers appear to be trending toward having him available, though the lingering nature of the injury warrants monitoring. He was limited throughout the week and is questionable.

Aaron Banks remains the biggest question

Banks, the veteran left guard, has dealt with a long history of injury issues, and a knee problem affected his participation through the offseason program and training camp. He did not play in preseason games, barely practiced throughout camp, and was limited in preparation for the Vikings game all week. Of the three linemen on the report, Banks carries the most uncertainty because of the sustained nature of his limited participation.

The Packers do have a few other names on the injury report, including defensive tackle Warren Brinson (out) and off-ball linebacker Ty’Ron Hopper (questionable). Those situations are worth tracking, but neither carries the same weight as the offensive line situation.

Protecting quarterback Jordan Love against a talented Minnesota front is the priority, and Green Bay’s ability to field its projected starting five will go a long way toward determining how the Packers open the 2026 season.

Defensive tackle Javon Hargrave (knee), edge defender Barryn Sorrell (foot), and defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt (ankle) are also off the injury report.
