The Buffalo Bills will kick off the 2026 season with a tough game against the Houston Texans.
The Buffalo Bills caught a big break before the start of the 2026 NFL season.
Buffalo learned on Friday that they won’t have to face superstar wide receiver AJ Brown on October 4 when they host the New England Patriots.
Brown was placed on IR on Friday after suffering an ankle injury in the Patriots’ season-opening loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday night.
The former Ole Miss Rebels standout will be eligible to return in Week 6 when the Patriots face the New York Jets.
The matchup against the Patriots will still be a tough game for the Bills even with Brown out.
But it’s undoubtedly going to be easier for Buffalo to game plan for that matchup without Brown being a factor.
