How to watch Florida Gators at Auburn Tigers: Jon Sumrall and Alex Golesh make their SEC head coaching debuts
The Florida Gators and Auburn Tigers are both 2-0 heading into their SEC openers, a first for Jon Sumrall and Alex Golesh.
The Florida Gators have started the season at 2-0 with wins over Florida Atlantic and Campbell, but they haven’t really been tested as of yet. That will come on Saturday night when they face off against the Auburn Tigers.
This is a massive game for a multitude of reasons, and the first one is simple: it’s Jon Sumrall‘s first game in the SEC as the Gators’ head coach. It also happens to be the first game for Tigers head coach Alex Golesh.
It is also the first time Sumrall has coached the Gators outside the confines of The Swamp. It’s a big deal for him to get things right, as the schedule won’t be getting any easier.
Running back Jadan Baugh is already one of the top Heisman Trophy contenders, averaging over 10 yards per carry in his first two matchups. The Gators will be riding Baugh throughout the season, and there will be a lot of him on Saturday night.
This is a game you won’t want to miss, and it’s the first time these two have played each other since La’Michal Perine ran roughshod over them in The Swamp. Here’s how you can catch it.
