Former Vols DB Boo Carter had a shoutout for Tennessee after the win over Kennesaw State
Former Tennessee Vols DB Boo Carter still has some friends in Knoxville
Former Tennessee defensive back Boo Carter had a shoutout for a Vols player after UT’s 42-9 win over Kennesaw State on Saturday night.
Carter, who transferred from Tennessee to Colorado this past offseason, posted a reel on his Instagram story of Vols running back Daune Morris’ 42-yard touchdown run against Kennesaw State.

Morris and Carter were teammates last season at Tennessee and they’re both from Chattanooga.
Carter left Tennessee last winter amid controversy (he was dismissed from the team), but he spoke positively about his time with the Vols last month.
“My time there was pretty cool,” said Carter in August. “I like Tennessee. I was a home state guy. But you know, [I] had the altercations going on. But that is part of life. You just move on and keep going.”
Things ended weird between Carter and the Vols, but he still has love for some of his former Tennessee teammates.
