The Las Vegas Raiders and New England Patriots will meet in Week 5. And this is a matchup that could really go either way, especially with it being in New England. There’s also some uncertainty for both teams.

The Raiders won just three games last season. In 2026, they have already matched that win total. And they nearly beat the Kansas City Chiefs last week. The Patriots went to the Super Bowl last season. However, they started the season with some really bad performances. But last week they beat the Buffalo Bills. So, are these two good teams? Are these two teams that are in the middle of the pack? We can learn more after the game. For now, it’s time to predict the winner.

Final score predictions for the Raiders vs. Patriots in Week 5

Justin Churchill, A to Z Las Vegas: Raiders 26, Patriots 24

The Las Vegas Raiders offense has scored at least 26 points in every game so far this season. And I think they will do that again. The Patriots don’t have the same defensive threat the Chiefs do, which would take the Raiders away from what they need to do. Vegas will run the ball even when it’s not working, and that will open up the play-action game. The Raiders will run the offense through the tight ends. As for the Patriots, that offensive line won’t hold up against the pass rush Vegas brings. This game should be fun, but I’ve got Vegas improving their record.

Rob Gregson, A to Z Pittsburgh: Patriots 23, Raiders 20

After a red-hot start, the Las Vegas Raiders went toe-to-toe with arguably the best team in the league, the Kansas City Chiefs, coming up just short last Sunday. This week, they get a Patriots team that may be finding its footing after a big-time win over the Buffalo Bills. It’s a Josh McDaniels revenge game for the Patriots, as I’m sure the OC will be looking to call a great game against the employer who let him walk.

After a 3-0 start, I think this is the second game in a row that the Raiders drop. New England has arguably the best defense in the NFL, and they are going to heat up Kirk Cousins and target his limited mobility with their pass rush. That, paired with an offense that has found ways to utilize playmakers like Romeo Doubs, TreVeyon Henderson, and even guys like Efton Chism, gives New England the edge here.
