Make that the Dallas Cowboys’ third win of the season as they stay alive in the NFC East race! They beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21 on the road as the offense found its rhytm after a two-week slump.

As we always do around this time, let’s dive into our immediate postgame winners and losers.

Winner: QB Dak Prescott

It wasn’t always pretty as Dak finished with a 56% completion rate, but it was a three passing touchdown showing for the Cowboys quarterback, who also ran into the endzone for a two-point conversion.

Prescott did a good job of getting both CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens involved, as both combined for three touchdowns and each got at least 70 receiving yards.

Winner: RB Javonte Williams

While Prescott had a day, it was nothing compared to Williams’.

The Cowboys wanted to get the run game going and they sure did! Williams finished with 155 rushing yards in 25 attempts. That’s a whopping 6.2 yards per carry. Take it with a grain of salt with the Eagles’ defense struggling versus the run all year long. But it was a major step in the right direction.

Winner: LB DeMarvion Overshown

Overshown’s game was far from perfect. But he displayed high effort and the Cowboys defense was missing that. His fourth quarter interception pretty much sealed the game and he also recorded pressures and made multiple tackles on third down.

Winner(s): WR George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb

Lamb could’ve used more catches given that he had 12 targets, but his five catches went a long way in putting points on the board on Sunday, as he logged touchdown catches on cornerbacks Cooper DeJean and Riq Woolen.

Meanwhile, Pickens finally got involved. One observation: Pickens wanted to move around and his touchdown catch came operating from the slot.

Loser: LB Justin Barron

Two special teams penalties is bad for a player mostly on the team due to special teams. I like Barron as a player and hope to see more of him in the future. But this was a rough outing for him in limited playing time.

Loser: DC Christian Parker

The Cowboys got more stops as the game went on, but allowing two drives of over seven minutes (one of 13 plays, another of 17) agaisnt a Tanner McKee-led offense was a bad look for the defense.

Loser: EDGE Rashan Gary, Donovan Ezeiruaku

I could group all of the Cowboys’ pass rushers here, but assuming Ezeiruaku and Gary once again led the OLB in snaps, they’re the headliners. At the time of Overshown’s interceptions, the starting pass rushers combined for one pressure.

Even against a reshuffled offenisve line, there was no pressure coming from the Cowboys defensive front. It needs to get better quickly.
