The Kansas City Chiefs have released their final injury report for Week 8’s matchup with the Denver Broncos.

Chiefs HC Andy Reid spoke to media members after practice, providing updates on rookie CB Mansoor Delane (shoulder) and rookie DE R Mason Thomas (personal).

“(Mansoor) Delane didn’t practice today,” Reid said. “We’ll just see how he does here going forward. I don’t have anything listed on whether he’s in or out, so just see where he’s at after this practice. R Mason (Thomas) was not there for personal reasons, but he’ll be at the game. He’ll meet us there in Denver.”

While Delane’s status remains up in the air, the Chiefs did have some positive injury news to report on offense. Reid expressed optimism that WR Rashee Rice (hamstring) would return to the starting lineup after missing the past two weeks. Rice carries no game status designation for Sunday. Additionally, Jaylon Moore is set to return after missing Week 7’s game with a concussion. He, too, carries no game status designation.

Here’s a quick breakdown of each team’s final injury report for Week 8, complete with game status designations. Keep in mind that clubs can add to the injury report through kickoff on Sunday.

Observations

  • Omarr Norman-Lott remains on the injured reserve list. I expect the Chiefs to use his full 21-day window as a ramp-up period after a full calendar year since his last practice.
  • L’Jarius Sneed is listed as questionable for Sunday. He’s been listed as questionable in each of the past two weeks due to his knee injury.
  • Travis Kelce returned to full participation in practice on Friday, suggesting Thursday’s limited practice was planned rest.
  • While Reid says R Mason Thomas will meet the team in Denver, the team is listing him as questionable in case of travel hiccups.
