Win or lose, Bills Mafia has proven to be the cream of the crop when it comes to fanbases around the NFL.

The Buffalo Bills (6-3) fell to the Minnesota Vikings (8-1) in a gut-wrenching overtime loss on Sunday. Quarterback Josh Allen gutted out an injury on his throwing elbow, but came up just short in the end.

One game doesn’t change the fact that Buffalo is still the Super Bowl favorite, per BetMGM. Nor does it take away from Allen’s MVP campaign.

However, after an excruciating defeat, everyone could use a little pick me up. That’s where Bills Mafia factors in.

On Monday, one Bills fan called on a specific sect of the fanbase — Moms.

A fan with the username Shira GK started a petition on change.org to offer Allen some support in this trying time. The titles is as follows:

Moms for Josh Allen: Because sometimes you need a mom to tell you it’s going to be OK.

You can’t make this stuff up, folks.

I would be remiss to leave out this excerpt in the petition’s description.

“We are so proud of having this young man represent us. It broke our hearts, as moms, to see the look in his eyes on Sunday. Josh, win or lose, we are proud of you. We know you can do this. And please know, we will be ok as a city no matter how this season ends and what happens. And don’t forget to eat healthy foods and get lots of sleep (and slide when getting those extra yards – we worry!) Western New York moms love you to the moon and back!”

There must be something in the water between moms and AFC East quarterbacks.

If you are a mom, or know a mom, you’ll be able to sign the petition by clicking the link below.

Moms for Josh Allen

The organizer’s goal was to tally 2,500 signatures, and after just seven hours, over 2,100 moms have already signed.

Never change, Bills Mafia.
