The Detroit Lions made a big addition on Monday that weakens another franchise.

Detroit is reportedly signing cornerback Cam Sutton to a free agent deal.

Sutton spent the first six years of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers after being selected in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Sutton was the Steelers' best cornerback and a player they definitely wanted to bring back.

The former Tennessee Vols standout said earlier this year that he wanted to return to Pittsburgh in 2023.

Detroit, however, came with a strong offer and got a deal done with the talented defensive back.

That deal?

According to Ian Rapoport, the Lions are giving Sutton a three-year deal worth $33 million.

$22.5 million of the contract is guaranteed.
