Atlanta Falcons defensive coordinator Dean Pees was not happy this week and he let the media know about it.
Pees was upset this week about the way the Atlanta media covered the Falcons’ first win of the season in week three (17-14 win against the New York Giants).
A reporter noted that it was an “ugly win” and that it was the first win for the Falcons in 10 months.
Here’s how Pees responded.

I can certainly understand the reason for his anger. Any win in the NFL is a good win. There’s so much parity in the league that any team can beat any team on any given Sunday.
And as far as the “first win in 10 months” comment, the anger there is justified, too. There wasn’t a team in the NFL that won a game from February to September.
Pees, who served as the Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator from 2018-2019 before retiring (for a second time), took over as the Falcons’ defensive coordinator after the 2020 season. Pees came out of retirement to work for former Titans offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, who was named the Falcons head coach in early 2021.
