The Tennessee Vols are one of several programs that’s reportedly trying to swipe a 2026 commit from the Alabama Crimson Tide.

2026 three-star defensive lineman Jerimy Finch has been committed to Alabama since late June, but that hasn’t stopped other programs from reaching out.

“I’d have to say Miami, LSU, Tennessee and Purdue are the main ones still reaching out,” said Finch to On3 this week.

Finch told On3 that as of now, he doesn’t have any plans to visit those programs this fall.

“They are trying to get me down for a game,” added Finch. “I don’t have any plans to visit them currently.”

Finch, 6-foot-3/260 lbs from Indianapolis, IN, is rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 63 defensive lineman in the nation and the No. 4 player in the state of Indiana.

The Indiana native took an official visit to Tennessee in June, so he’s very familiar with the UT football program.

It sounds like the Volunteers are going to keep swinging at Finch. They’ll likely need to get him on campus this fall to have a legitimate chance to flip the underrated defensive lineman.
