The Tennessee Titans cut two kickers on Tuesday morning and they also brought back a familiar face.
According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the Titans released Caleb Shudak and Trey Wolff on Tuesday.
Pelissero also reported that Tennessee is signing veteran kicker Michael Badgley.
Badgley appeared in one game for the Titans in 2021 — a season-opening loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Badgley was promoted to the active roster after Sam Ficken suffered a groin injury just before the start of the season.
The former Miami kicker made one of his two extra point attempts against the Cardinals and he missed his only field goal attempt — a 46 yard attempt that was wide left.
Badgley was released the next day.
Last season, Badgley spent time with the Chicago Bears and the Detroit Lions. In 13 games, Badgley made all 33 of his extra point attempts. He also made 24 of 28 field goal attempts.
In Week 13 last season, Badgley was named the Special Teams Player of the Week after converting four extra point attempts and making four field goals in the Lions' 40-14 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
