Mims is a 6-foot-1/165 lb wide receiver from Frisco, TX (Lone Star). He's rated by 247Sports as the No. 20 player in the state of Texas and the No. 28 wide receiver in the nation.

The Texas native, who was named the district 5-5A-I offensive MVP in 2018, has received a litany of big offers in the last few weeks.

In February, he's been offered by Baylor, Notre Dame and Oklahoma. Mims also has offers from Ohio State, Texas A&M and Wisconsin, among several others.

As a junior in 2018, Mims caught 59 passes for 1,158 yards and 14 touchdowns.

The Vols currently have five commits to their 2020 recruiting class.
