Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen

LeSean "Shady" McCoy will not stand for Josh Allen slander.

The former Buffalo Bill will always hold a special place in the hearts of the Bills Mafia as he was part of the team that had broken the historic playoff drought. You could argue that had McCoy been healthy for the Jacksonville playoff game, Buffalo might have been able to squeak out a victory.

Nevertheless, McCoy is back in the spotlight defending his former quarterback. McCoy played with Allen his rookie season and has always been a vocal supporter of the greatness that Allen has. In fact, McCoy was one of the very first players to discuss just how special he thought Allen could be.

McCoy, in an over-the-top manner, defended his former quarterback on Speak, an FS1 program with Emmanuel Acho and Joy Taylor. The segment had former Super Bowl champion, WR James Jones talk about current NFL quarterbacks. McCoy immediately interrupted when Jones compared Dak Prescott to Allen.

It was all in good fun but the passionate running back was sure to let Jones know how he felt about the comparison. "Don't mention Josh Allen's name with Dak Prescott! Don't you ever do that again!" McCoy shouted after throwing his hands up in the air.

James Jones pushed back, pointing out the earlier-than-expected playoff losses and the turnovers that Allen faced. McCoy, flabbergasted, pushed back that Allen carries his team to victory before reminding Jones, once again animatedly, to not make the comparison. "Don't ever do that again, though, please."

McCoy was a monster on the field for the Bills, a dynamic playmaker who could take every run to the house. He's as exciting as he was on the field as he is with his defense of Allen on national television.

As for the comparisons between Prescott and Allen, Allen is a unicorn. We can't remember the last time Prescott was hurdling All-Pro linebackers at midfield.

In all seriousness, Allen dominates in rushing categories while Prescott has a strong lead in limiting turnovers. Allen hasn't missed nearly as much time as Prescott but when Prescott plays, he's great. The comparison isn't uncanny, but seeing McCoy fire up the fanbase and defend Allen so passionately will always make us smile.
