The Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings both got big wins to open the regular season in Week 1 and now will face off head-to-head on Sunday at Soldier Field. The Vikings will be looking to start the season 2-0 in divisional play while the Bears are looking to keep the hot momentum running after a 59-point outing in Week 1.

On the Vikings’ side of things, Minnesota has a quarterback situation to watch this week with starting quarterback Kyler Murray in the concussion protocol. If he’s not cleared in time for Sunday’s game, the Vikings will turn back to Carson Wentz who led a second-half comeback against the Green Bay Packers last week.

On the Bears’ side of things, quarterback Caleb Williams had a strong start to his third NFL season with a four-touchdown performance against the Carolina Panthers and can look to stack another big game to build an early MVP case for himself.

This is always an exciting matchup between these two NFC North rivals, but unfortunately not everyone will be able to watch locally on TV. Here’s which areas will be able to catch the action, and which areas will have to stream the game.

Another chess match ahead between Ben Johnson and Brian Flores

Sunday’s game will be another head-to-head matchup between one of the league’s top offensive play-callers in Bears head coach Ben Johnson and one of the league’s top defensive play-callers in Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores.

Johnson had success against Flores during his time as the Detroit Lions offensive coordinator but struggled a bit against Minnesota during his first year in Chicago. The Bears scored 24 and 19 points against the Vikings in 2025, with a 1-1 split. However, Week 1 showed this is a much dangerous Ben Johnson-led offense in Year 2.

“It’s certainly a chess match,” Flores said. “One of the things I love about coaching defense in this division, really in the whole NFC, you know whether it’s Ben or (Matt) LaFleur…it’s a lot of fun. And it’s a major challenge, and that’s what we all signed up for.”

On the other side of the ball, the Bears have a tough matchup of their own against Kevin O’Connell’s offense and the preparation will be a lot tougher given Minnesota’s quarterback situation.

A lot’s at stake in this game for being a Week 2 matchup and it’s set up to be another exciting one for both teams.
