Bengals add to the NFL’s curiousity surrounding former first-round pick ahead of Week 7 matchup at Ravens
The Cincinnati Bengals are not going to play defensive end Shemar Stewart against the Baltimore Ravens in NFL Week 7. Stewart’s name has come up in league circles regarding trade speculation.
The Cincinnati Bengals are getting set to play their Week 7 game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Before kickoff, both teams have released their inactive players list for the game.
Here are the Bengals players who will not be dressing for today’s game against the Jags.
Bengals Week 7 inactives at Ravens
- OT Myles Hinton
- C Connor Lew
- DT Landon Robinson
- DE Shemar Stewart
- S Russ Yeast
All five players are healthy scratches. Hinton, Lew, and Robinson are usual suspects on the inactives list. Yeast was signed off the practice squad this week, but with Kyle Dugger back in action, he will not be needed in this game.
Shemar Stewart not playing
Stewart has played just 17 snaps this season. He’s the fifth EDGE in the Bengals’ rotation, and there are simply not very many chances for that player to see playing time.
But Stewart isn’t just a reserve deep down the depth chart. He was the club’s first-round pick in 2025. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler tabbed him as a player teams are monitoring ahead of the upcoming trade deadline.
There could still be a path for Stewart to play down the road, but until he does, the rest of the league will still be interested in his potential availability.
