Landon Robinson Player Profile

Age: 23
Year: Rookie
Position: Defensive tackle
College: Navy
Jersey Number: 96

Landon Robinson was selected with the No. 226 in the seventh round of the 2026 NFL Draft by the Bengals. Robinson spent four years in college, all at the U.S. Naval Academy. He didn’t play as a freshman in 2022 and came off the bench during his first year of action in 2023, recording four sacks. Navy started him in 2024 and watched him post four more sacks while racking up 28 pressures and 26 defensive stops on his way to First Team All-AAC honors. He topped that in 2025 by amassing 37 stops, 34 pressures, 8.5 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks. He was First Team All-AAC again and also named the AAC Defensive Player of the Year.

Robinson grew up in Copley, Ohio as the son of a Bengals fan. He met with Cincinnati several times during the pre-draft process, and is now on the roster of his childhood team, as well as a Second Lieutenant in the Navy.

Contract details

Robinson signed a four-year, $4,542,284 rookie contract with the Bengals. His base salary for 2026 is the minimum $885,000. He’s also getting $162,284 as a signing bonus. His cash figure for the year is $1,047,284, and his salary cap hit will be $925,571.

Roster outlook

The Bengals are suddenly very deep at defensive tackle. Dexter Lawrence, Jonathan Allen, and B.J. Hill are roster locks, and former Day 2 draft picks Kris Jenkins Jr. and McKinnley Jackson are each ahead of Robinson on the depth chart as well.

Jenkins and Jackson are going to be pushed by Robinson if there’s a fair battle to be had. Draft status may protect one of them, but Robinson has a real shot at supplanting the other. It depends on how deep Cincy wants the position, and if Robinson can provide a greater boost as a pass rusher.

Robinson’s not like most seventh-rounders, but he’ll need to prove it come August.
