The Cincinnati Bengals have eyes on several Ohio State Buckeyes with the 2025 NFL Draft right around the corner, including running back Quinshon Judkins. We can now add defensive tackle Ty Hamilton to the list.

Hamilton posted on his Instagram story Monday morning he's at Paycor Stadium and visiting with the team.

Hamilton, who grew up in Pickerington, Ohio and attended Pickering High School, spent the last five years at Ohio State. He emerged as a rotational player in 2021 and maintained a similar role for most of 2022 before starting his first games later in the season. His playing time took another jump in 2023 before becoming a full-time starter in 2024.

Hamilton ended up playing in 57 career games (29 starts) for the Bucks and was a consistent contributor for last year's squad that won the College Football Playoff National Championship. He achieved career-highs in total tackles (51) tackles for loss (6.0) and sacks (3.5) while playing alongside Jack Sawyer and Tyliek Williams. The Bengals have Sawyer on their radar as well.

Because Williams is an in-state product, his visit could qualify as a local visit.

Most big boards have Hamilton ranked as a Day 3 player with an expected draft position ranging anywhere between the fourth and sixth round. The Bengals have three picks in that range.

Defensive tackle is a big need for the Bengals. They only have four on the roster following free agency and aren't expected to add any more veterans to the group at this time. A rookie should be expected to come in and compete for playing time behind starters B.J. Hill and T.J. Slaton. Cincinnati drafted Kris Jenkins Jr. and McKinnley Jackson last year, but more depth is needed to round out the group.
