Cleveland Browns are in the midst of cutting their roster down to 53 players to head into the regular season. This is the most important cutdown of the Andrew Berry and Kevin Stefanski era, as expectations are legit.
The Browns made big improvements through the offseason and the roster reflects that. There are no glaring holes on the roster as there have been in years past and there is quality depth throughout. It’s up to the players and coaches to put it all together.
When looking at the depth chart, it reflects the work the Browns have done in the off-season. The wide receiver room is well-rounded, the defensive line was overhauled, and key pieces were added in the secondary.
Going into Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals, this is how I see the depth chart shaking out. Of course, different packages will change up personnel. Shelby Harris won’t be out there on a ton of third downs, for example.
