The Dallas Cowboys released their initial injury report ahead of Week 7 versus the Philadelphia Eagles and there is a couple of notable offensive starters, including WR George Pickens.

The focus on the injury front for the 2026 Cowboys has mostly been on defense. The secondary has been banged up since Week 1. But now, the new names are what jumps off the page.

Pickens was a limited participant with a shoulder injury. ESPN’s Todd Archer noted on social media Pickens “had ice on his shoulder the last two games.” The expectation is Pickens will be ready to go for Monday Night Football, but it will be an important situation to monitor.

Additionally, left tackle Tyler Guyton popped up on the report with a calf injury as a limited participant. The Cowboys offensive line just played its first couple of games at full health since left guard Tyler Smith returned from Injured Reserve, and it would be a significant blow to lose Guyton.

With the Cowboys playing on Monday, however, it’s too early to jump into conclusions. This is only the first of three injury reports, with game statuses coming on Saturday.

Defense getting 2 starters back

Though the additions on the offense’s side of things will steal the headlines, things are looking good for linebacker DeMarvion Overshown and cornerback Cobie Durant, who were Week 1 starters for the Cowboys defense.

Overshown is a full participant, which appears to confirm he’s set to play Monday. As for Durant, it’s the first time he practices since suffering a hamstring injury in Week 2.

Unfortunately, LB Dee Winters is expected to miss “some time,” according to Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer. Overall, though, this was a positive injury report for the team as long as the offensive players continue to progress.
