Las Vegas Raiders HC Klint Kubiak just sent a powerful message to the entire fan base after beating the New York Jets
The Las Vegas Raiders are now 4-4 on the year, and Klint Kubiak is loving the support from the fan base.
The Las Vegas Raiders won in New Jersey on Sunday. After a rough first half, they took the Jets to the wire and won a tough road game. Or was it on the road?
Sure, the Raiders weren’t playing at Allegiant Stadium. Sure, they weren’t in Las Vegas, or Los Angeles, or the Bay Area. Heck, they weren’t even on the West Coast. But it felt like a home game in the fourth quarter. At one point, the Raiders fans who traveled to the game in New Jersey were so loud they forced the Jets, the home team, to take a delay of game. You saw the Jets visibly irritated and unable to hear well. Head coach Klint Kubiak couldn’t let that go unnoticed.
“The Silver and Black was out,” Kubiak told reporters after the win. “We heard ’em; they were loud, they supported us… it wasn’t all pretty, but it’s not always gonna be pretty; it’s about finding a way to win.”
And the Raiders will need that at home and on the road the next few games
Raiders’ remaining schedule is insanely hard
This was the “easy” game during the rough stretch the Raiders have on their schedule. They just finished four straight games against elite teams: the Chiefs, Patriots, Bills, and Rams. After playing the Jets, they are now set to play the 49ers on the road, Seattle at home, Denver on the road, Cleveland on the road, and then the Broncos again after playing the Los Angeles Chargers.
Not only do they play Super Bowl contenders and previous winners on this schedule, but they play some of them on the road. This schedule is tough, and this was supposed to be their break. They won, but it definitely didn’t look like a break. Now, they need that same support from the fan base.
