NFL front office executive suggests the Las Vegas Raiders create chaos and shake up the league

The NFL is crazy, sure, not as crazy as the NBA, where you will find generational players being traded for a bag of chips and chewing gum, but the NFL is pretty crazy, too. Now, it's the Cleveland Browns, and their star player Myles Garrett, who just so happens to want out of town. And, the Raiders are a team that keeps getting brought up.
Garrett, at the end of the 2024 season, said that in 2025 he did not want to be a part of another team rebuild. And, it appears that is the direction the Browns are going. And, that's ultimately why Garrett just demanded a trade from the Browns. And, now things will get interesting.
Being the brand and the team and franchise that the Raiders are, of course, their name will be linked to a situation of this magnitude. And, we are already seeing that become true.
NFL Exec. wants Raiders to trade for Garrett
The Raiders have one of the best defensive lines in the entire NFL, when healthy that is. They had a really good defensive line this last year, and they were missing half of their defensive line. Christian Wilkins, one of the best defensive tackles in the league, missed a chunk of the season, while Malcolm Koonce missed the entire season.
Of course, some members of the depth dealt with injuries as well. The Raiders were going through it in terms of the injury bug, and yet they were still able to hold their own on that side of the ball.
Now, imagine adding Myles Garrett to that. One NFL Executive thinks the Raiders should do it, according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic.
I know what some of you are thinking — the Raiders were just as bad last year as the Browns were, and yet he wants out of a rebuild situation, so why would he be okay with a trade to the Raiders? With a no-trade clause, he basically can say no to a trade the Browns try to do if he doesn't like it.
Well, what if I were to tell you that he may not say no to the Raiders?
Think about getting to play for Pete Carroll, across from Maxx Crosby, next to Christian Wilkins, for an organization that is obviously headed in the right direction now after years of getting it all wrong.
And, the Raiders are set to get a new QB soon, which could mean they will have a much better team than the one the Browns are attempting to put together.
Who knows how it would go. For all we know, he will probably end up on the Dallas Cowboys or the Kansas City Chiefs.
Las Vegas Raiders are set to make NFL history in 2025 with Pete Carroll and 2024 hasn’t even ended yet
The Raiders don’t seem to care.
