Las Vegas Raiders' big win over the New Orleans Saints made owner Mark Davis do what he has rarely done all year

The Las Vegas Raiders have had a really tough year in 2024. There have been a lot of downs, and more downs, not really any ups. That is, until the last few weeks, which even then you can still say those are downs. The Raiders have won their last two games, which is awesome for morale and competitiveness, but they have dropped from the No. 1 pick to the No. 8 pick in the span of two games.
But, they are having fun and they are competing again, and that's all that matters, right? Well, if you ask the fan base, no. They would rather this team keep losing, and I don't blame them. They desperately need a quarterback, one that can be the franchise player for years to come.
And, getting those players will be much harder to do at pick No. 8 rather than at pick No. 1. But, on the bright side, the Raiders were able to do one thing in this game, or after the game, rather, that they haven't really seen all year long, and it involves owner Mark Davis.
Raiders owner Mark Davis gets happy after win vs. Saints
After the game, this season the Raiders likely have gone to the locker room and just changed and gone about their days, pissed and upset that they lost. But, getting two wins in a row, one against the Jacksonville Jaguars and one against the New Orleans Saints, has called for something different.
The Raiders did their little victory chat, where a player and Antonio Pierce talk in front of the team, something most teams do after a win if not all of them. And then, we heard everyone let out the famous Raiders chant.
You can see in the background, that Mark Davis is chanting the chant, with the biggest smile on his face. That's not really something we have seen this season.
So, I mean, I guess that's a good reason to be happy, right? Well, he could be even happier after next week, as the Los Angeles Chargers have a shot at resting their starters, which gives the Raiders even more of a chance at winning the game, and finishing the season 5-12.
