The Las Vegas Raiders just made one of the more underrated moves of the offseason that will only make their defense even better than it already was.

The Raiders still need to figure out their offensive staff, and they soon will, as the latest report suggests they are interviewing Kliff Kingsbury later this week. However, why not try to make an elite defense in 20923 even better?

Their latest hire did just that. According to Cameron Wolf of NFL Network, the Las Vegas Raiders are hiring Gerald Alexander as their safeties coach.

This is a great hire for the Raiders as they did struggle in their secondary a bit when it came to their defense in 2023. Alexander coached guys like Jevon Holland in Miami with the Dolphins and Minkah Fitzpatrick in Pittsburgh for his Pro Bowl and First Team all-pro year.

Not only did the Raiders defense just instantly get better in that department, but they also have a guy who can develop young talent, such as guys like Jack Jones and Nate Hobbs.
