The Las Vegas Raiders drafted a pretty good rookie class in the 2024 NFL Draft, and they snagged some good undrafted free agents along the way as well. Already, we have seen some of these guys become fan favorites in just their short time with the team, which means they are doing something right.
However, six rookies won't be making their NFL debut on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Raiders are entering the season, where they have hopes to make the postseason, without these guys for at least game one.
When the inactives were released an hour prior to the game, it featured six rookies and no veterans, or any other type of player.
Among the inactivates are second-round pick Jackson Powers-Johnson, who just isn't ready yet after rehabbing from an injury, Decamerion Richardson, a fourth-round pick in this year's draft, Dylan Laube, a sixth-round pick, Tommy Eichenberg, the fifth-round pick, and Zach Harper and Ramel Keyton, two undrafted free agents.
These guys will have to make their NFL debuts another week, unfortunately.
