Miami Dolphins 2026 Roster Cuts Tracker: Keep tabs on all of Miami’s transactions as the roster is trimmed to 53 players
Keep up with all the Miami Dolphins’ 2026 53-man roster cuts right here.
The Miami Dolphins‘ preseason work is done. Now comes one of the most unsavory parts of the job.
Miami, along with the rest of the NFL, will be cutting nearly 50% of their 90-man offseason rosters in preparation for the 2026 regular season. The conversations around Miami’s roster are different than many other teams across the league. There’s little to no financial implications for Miami. The team’s current salary cap affairs have seen to that. But the Miami Dolphins must pick the right talents to serve as the foundation of Jeff Hafley and Jon-Eric Sullivan’s build in South Florida. It’s a critical time, even as expectations outside of the building are tempered.
“Just being in the locker room with those guys and you know it’s the last time we’ll have all those players together. I’m proud of how hard they fought, proud of how hard they worked. Really just all camp, it was hard. It was a hard camp. It was a physical camp. We pushed them trying to figure out who were the guys that we can count on as we get going for tomorrow and the cuts. We got a lot of tough guys in that locker room that love football that are going to be really, really strong pieces for our foundation as we go forward. I’m proud of them and I’m sad that tomorrow, there’s going to be a lot of hard decisions to make.”
— Miami Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley on Saturday night
The hay, as they say, is in the barn. And now it’s time to make some tough decisions. Cuts are due by 6PM EST on Sunday, August 30th. You can keep tabs on them all there.
