The Miami Dolphins snuck in a little extra cramming on one of the most talented players in the 2026 NFL Draft
The Miami Dolphins and general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan conducted some last-minute cramming ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft on one of the most talented players in the class.
There’s nothing like a little last minute cram session to help get you ready for any test. That’s true for you, me, and apparently also Miami Dolphins general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan.
The Miami Dolphins are less than a week away from kickoff of the 2026 NFL Draft. By and large, the board is set and the opinions of the prospects eligible to be picked is finalized. There are, as is the case with everything in life, a handful of exceptions. And for Jon-Eric Sullivan and more than half of the rest of the NFL, that seems to be the case after Friday’s workout for Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson.
Jon-Eric Sullivan sneaks in one last scouting assessment ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft

Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer reported that Sullivan was among those in attendance at Arizona State Sun Devils wide receiver Jordyn Tyson’s last minute workout for NFL teams on Friday. Tyson is, on talent alone, arguably the best wide receiver in the 2026 NFL Draft. He has good size at 6-foot-2, has rare body control at the catch point and illustrates prolific ability with the ball in his hands. He was incredible during the 2024 season.
But he’s missed too much time. Tyson missed portions of the pre-draft process due to an ailing hamstring. That same hamstring was bothering him all the way back in the fall. Tyson also has a broken collarbone and a major knee injury on his resume.
A healthy Tyson is a top-10 overall pick. He probably feels too risky for this Miami Dolphins franchise, though. This new regime would have to put their reputation on the line with the risk. Miami’s last regime was filled with players who struggled with durability. But if Tyson were to endure a tumble, due diligence is an admirable thing. But thanks to a last minute trip across the country, Sullivan can say he’s finished this last-second cram session ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft. There will be no surprises on Tyson’s condition.
