Saints: NFL insider provides key update on Alvin Kamara’s criminal case
Saints’ running back Alvin Kamara was involved in an incident where a man got assaulted last February. However, he has claimed his innocence
The New Orleans Saints have had some unwelcoming news attached to their franchise for quite a while.
Star running back Alvin Kamara was indicted last month on charges of conspiracy to commit battery and battery resulting in substantial bodily harm stemming from an incident in February 2022 in Las Vegas where a man was assaulted outside of a nightclub.
On Thursday, Kamara and three other men, including Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Christopher Lammons, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
There is some incriminating evidence against Kamara in this matter.
Not only was the incident caught on tape, but Kamara was also heard saying that he assaulted someone while riding in a limousine.
This doesn't look good for Kamara despite his claim of innocence. Whether or not Kamara is found guilty, some sort of punishment could come from the NFL as has been the case under commissioner Roger Goodell
