The Philadelphia Eagles left the 2023 NFL Draft as one of the biggest winners of the weekend. Whether these additions came from free agency, the draft, or trades, Philly is stacked and ready to make a run at another Super Bowl.

Keeping up with all the new players can be a chore with so many additions from different areas, but here is a projection for where the roster should land.

Note: Players with single asterisk (*) are 2023 draft picks and players with double asterisks (**) are 2023 undrafted free agents.

Quarterback (3)

IN: Jalen Hurts, Marcus Mariota, Tanner McKee*
OUT: Ian Book

The skinny: Nothing crazy here. The Eagles keep their superstar to lead the franchise, one of the best backups in the league, and a strange draft pick to round out the room as a potential future backup.

Running back (4)

IN: D'Andre Swift, Kenneth Gainwell, Boston Scott, Rashaad Penny
OUT: Trey Sermon, Kennedy Brooks

The skinny: This is one of the most interesting Eagles running back room in a while. The group as a whole should be one of the best in years, and determining who that top guy will be one of the tightest fights in an Eagles training camp in years.

Wide receiver (6)

IN: A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Olamide Zaccheaus, Quez Watkins, Tyrie Cleveland, Greg Ward
OUT: Britain Covey, Devon Allen

The skinny: Six wide receivers is basically the requirement in the modern NFL. The Eagles have a good group that is headlined by one of the best duos in the sport.

Tight end (3)

IN: Dallas Goedert, Jack Stoll, Tyree Jackson
OUT: Grant Calcaterra, Dalton Keene

The skinny: With six wide receivers, four running backs, and three quarterbacks, tight end is one of the positions where the Eagles will have to cut back a little. This trio gives the Eagles the right level of upside versus development to go along with the proper necessary skillsets.

Offensive line (9)

IN: Jordan Mailata, Landon Dickerson, Jason Kelce, Cam Jurgens, Lane Johnson, Fred Johnson, Sua Opeta, Tyler Steen, Jack Driscoll
OUT: Cameron Tom, Brett Toth, Tyrese Robinson, Jarrid Williams

The skinny: This is the most important unit for the Eagles outside of Jalen Hurts. There is enough versatility and talent here to make it through any bumps in the road during the season.

Defensive line (5)

IN: Fletcher Cox, Jalen Carter*, Jordan Davis, Milton Williams, Marlon Tuipulotu
OUT: Kentavius Street, Noah Elliss, Moro Ojomo*

The skinny: There may not be a better defensive line in the NFL. The Eagles have one of the best top-four groups in the league, especially when you look at all those Georgia players on the roster.

Outside linebacker/Edge (8)

IN: Brandon Graham, Josh Sweat, Tarron Jackson, Derek Bennett, Hasson Reddick, Nolan Smith*, Nicholas Morrow, Christian Elliss
OUT: Janarius Robinson, Matt Leo, Davion Taylor, Patrick Johnson, Kyron Johnson

The skinny: There are a lot of heavy-hitters here. Again, this is another position that is very deep for the Eagles and should end in a very tight camp battle, but most of the positions are already set.

Inside linebacker (2)

IN: Nakobe Dean, Bradley Shaun
OUT:

The skinny: This group is going to be all about consistency. Nakobe Dean is a beast when he is healthy, and having a backup is just a safety measure for long-term competition.

Cornerback (6)

IN: Darius Slay, James Bradberry, Avonte Maddox, Kelee Ringo*, Greedy Williams, Josiah Scott
OUT: Zech McPhearson Mario Goodrich, Josh Jobe

The skinny: This is another position where the Eagles have one of the best duos in the sport. Assuming this group can maitain its status of play fro 2022, this team could make it back to the Super Bowl easily.

Safety (4)

IN: Terrell Edmunds, Reed Blankenship, Sydney Brown*, K'Von Wallace
OUT: Tristan McCollum, Andre Chachere, Justin Evans

The skinny: The Eagles probably still have some work to do with this position. The loss of players like C.J. Gardner Johnson is going to hurt, but there is still time for Philly to make some changes here.

Special Teams (3)

IN: Arryn Siposs, Jake Elliott, Rick Lovato
OUT:

The skinny: As long as the Eagles can keep this unit from losing games, there isn't anything to worry about here and there are no expected changes.
