Philadelphia Eagles choose franchise legend to help them finalize NFL Draft plans

The Eagles are calling on a former fan favorite to help them on NFL Draft night.

Brian Westbrook will announce an Eagles draft pick

Westbrook was selected 91st overall in the 2002 draft. The former star running back will announce one of the Eagles’ draft picks this year. His selection will happen during the second or third round of the draft process. That’ll occur next Friday.

Philly’s picks could change before Westbrook makes the announcement via trade. That being said, the Eagles are currently slated to pick three times on day two of the draft as of now.

In eight years with Philadelphia, Westbrook totaled 9,785 all-purpose yards and 71 total touchdowns as a key component of the team’s production. He quickly elevated into a fan favorite during his Eagles tenure.
