Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans received plenty of national attention on Sunday.

But it probably wasn’t for the reasons he wanted.

Evans was involved in an altercation with New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore.

Both players were ejected from the game.

If you’re a Buccaneers fan, you can’t be too upset about Evans getting ejected.

Evans was simply protecting his teammates. He was walking off the field, noticed the altercation, and immediately ran to the aid of his teammates.

That’s what a good teammate is supposed to do.

Evans finished the game with three receptions for 61 yards on four targets. He had a 41-yard reception that made up the bulk of that yardage.

Did Tom Brady impress you today vs the Saints?
