The Philadelphia Eagles are taking a gamble on another weapon for quarterback Jalen Hurts.

According to NFL Network's NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Eagles have signed wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. to a one-year deal.

"The #Eagles have agreed to terms with WR Terrace Marshall Jr., sources say, as the former #Panthers, #49ers and #Raiders WR gets a 1-year deal. Contract done by Vince Taylor of @eliteloyaltysp," Rapoport wrote on X.

Marshall Jr. was originally selected by the Carolina Panthers in the second round (59th overall) of the 2021 NFL draft. He saw action in 13 games as a rookie and recorded 17 receptions for 138 receiving yards. In his second season with the Panthers, Marshall reeled in 28 receptions for 490 receiving yards and one touchdown through 14 games.

Following a disappointing 2023 season where he hauled in 139 receiving yards and 19 receptions, Marshall Jr. was released by the Panthers.

He then joined the San Francisco 49ers practice squad until he was waived in October and finished the 2024 season with the Raiders. He appeared in seven games with Las Vegas last season, recording three receptions for 41 yards.

Wallace Jr. doesn't come with the greatest resume, but he does add some more experience to their depth chart for cheap. And if anyone is good at finding great deals on players with a lot of potential, it's Howie Roseman.
