Kellen Moore says Kendre Miller has clean slate
According to Kellen Moore, young running back Kendre Miller has a "blank slate" as far as his opportunity goes. He's going to be given chances to prove that he can make an impact for New Orleans, and he does deserve it.
Miller has played well at times so far in his pro career, but his availability has been a bit of a knock on his outlook for the future. Now, with a new staff in the building, Miller won't have to worry about any preconceived notions. He can focus on his development and staying healthy for the Saints backfield.
Backup RB competition for New Orleans
Miller will be landlocked in a competition for the backup running back spot behind Alvin Kamara. Along with Miller, the Saints currently have rookie sixth-round pick Devin Neal, veteran Clyde Edwards-Helaire, UDFA Marcus Yarns, and Velus Jones on the roster at RB.
