Former Philadelphia Eagles OC Kellen Moore has kicked off his New Orleans Saints tenure rather quickly. He's building his staff as we speak, and there are plenty notable decisions yet to come for him this offseason.
This weekend, New Orleans has begun interviewing some major names for coordinator openings along their staff under Moore.
Saints interview notable coordinator candidates
The #Saints and new coach Kellen Moore are set to interview former #Chargers coach Brandon Staley for defensive coordinator today and #Eagles QBs coach Doug Nussmeier for offensive coordinator early this week, sources say.
The insider notes that those two names are considered "top candidates" for the positions. Rapoport updated his info, explaining that Nussmeier also interviewed on Sunday with the Saints. They had a busy day.
That should come as no surprise. Moore worked with Staley with the Los Angeles Chargers, and he also spent time with Nussmeier both with LA and the Eagles.

That piece of the offseason has already begun for the offense as well. Moore hired two new assistants on offense in Brendan Nugent (OL) and Chase Haslett (TEs). Keith Williams will remain on staff as his wide receivers coach.
