Bill Belichick has a new book being released on May 6, titled "The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football."

However, some have gotten a sneak peek at the future Hall of Fame coach's book, and noticed one very interesting detail. 

Despite having been the head coach of the New England Patriots for 24 seasons, Belichick made no mention of the team's owner, Robert Kraft. 

And during an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Belichick revealed why he did that. But, it was also a very typical answer from the new North Carolina head coach. 

“He’s not,” Belichick said. “It’s about my life lessons in football, and it’s really more about the ones I experienced directly.”

Interviewer Tony Dokoupil went on to point out that Kraft was even left out of the acknowledgements, and Belichick's simple response was, "correct."

As for the decision for him to leave New England, he referred to it in the interview as "a mutual decision."

Bill Belichick's Girlfriend Interrupts CBS Interview 

Another question Belichick was asked during his interview was how he met his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson. However, Hudson interrupted the interview and put an end to that line of questioning. 

“We’re not talking about this,” she said. 

Dokoupil followed up by asking how he deals with the public's opinion of his relationship with Hudson given their 49 year age difference. 

“I’ve never been too worried about what everybody else thinks,” the legendary NFL coach said. “Just try to do what I feel like is best for me and what’s right.”
